Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago

On Thursday, January 30, Ambassador Kwon met with James Fletcher, former Minister of Sustainable Development, Energy, Science and Technology and current CARICOM Special Envoy for Climate Change, to learn more about his experience in leading the country's climate change agenda and his plans for the future.

Mr. James Fletcher shared his experiences as a minister, his vision for geothermal power, his outlook for the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, and his interests as the CARICOM Climate Change Envoy.

The Embassy congratulates Saint Lucia on the appointment of Mr. Fletcher and wishes him well as he continues to actively lead the CARICOM-wide climate change agenda.
