Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago

On Thursday, January 30, Ambassador Kwon met with Ms. Anita Montoute, Deputy Minister of Sustainable Development, Energy and Science and Technology, to learn about the current status of the Ministry's projects and exchange views on possible areas of cooperation.

Ms. Anita Montoute explained in detail the projects under the ministry's jurisdiction, shared the current status of climate change response, including national greenhouse gas reduction targets, and expressed great interest in bilateral exchanges and capacity building initiatives.

The Embassy will continue to actively cooperate with the Ministry, as the policy-making body in charge of climate change response issues in the government level in Saint Lucia.
