Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago

On January 29 (Wed), Ambassador Kwon met with OECS Secretary General Didacus Jules and after being introduced to the organization and its field of focus, exchanged various perspectives for potential areas for cooperation.

OECS Secretary General Didacus Jules explained in detail about the organization's core values and priority projects, including agriculture, pharmaceuticals, education, environment, and economic development, expressing his hope for future collaboration with Korea, saying that exchanges with Korea have not been active due to geographical limitations.

The OECS is an international organization comprised of small island states in the Caribbean region that is organized to make their voices heard in the international community, and the Embassy will spare no effort to initiate cooperations with the organization in the future.
